This has always been one of my favorite albums of all time from Player. Peter Beckett's vocals are great. Some recording artist have a voice that after a few tracks they sound the same and you're tired of hearing them. Beckett has a range that seems to adjust to the feel and need of the song. In my opinion this album has many missed hits. Even though there is nothing to compare with " Baby Come Back" there is a few catchy tunes and plenty of love type songs to make any Player fans happy. One should never try to compare one album with another, for it can't work that way. Every work should be good, yet different, as in the case with "Spies Of Life". I still have the album in good shape and enjoy it until now. "If Looks Could Kill" starts the album off and is very good with powerful vocals and " It Only Hurts When I Breathe" should have been major hits.
