Genre: West Coast/ Soft Rock/ Yacht Rock
Album: Forever
Year: 1979
This was the biggest hit the group achieved after front man John Hall left to launch a solo career. The song is about the fickle and unpredictable nature of love. Pointing out that it needs tending and work overtime, and often fails because people get caught up in the moment and fail to follow up on it.
Peaked at no. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May 1979. It also reached number 13 on the US Adult Contemporary chart. Written by Larry Hoppen and Marily Mason, it was the first track on the band's 1979 album "Forever"
